The magic of the patented technology in the LightWedge Original Book Light for hardcover books is in the tapered,wedge shape of the optical-grade, acrylic lens. Two energy efficient, bright LEDs housed in the handle project light through the lens, directing all of the light down onto the page without light escaping to disturb others around you. Designed for hardcover books and large format paperback books. Requires 4 AAA batteries (not included), providing about 40 hours of light. The color of the trim is black, and a soft carrying case is included.
