The Problem: The average person in the U.S. spends $5,500 a year on energy and emits 21 tons of carbon in the air. This is twice as high as other western countries.

The Solution: Technology is driving energy saving products which reduce energy consumption and carbon emission. Buy Alternative and Energy Efficient products and help yourself and the environment.

Plant A Tree - Help your environment

“ We will plant a tree in your name for every purchase of $100”.

The Energy Conscious LLC

Planting a tree is an offset to the carbon we release from our energy use. Plants absorb our carbon dioxide and give us oxygen. Without plants we would have no food to eat or oxygen to breath. As a contribution to our environment, we have committed to plant a tree in your name for every purchase of $100. You will receive a certificate from us to that effect by mail either with your order or separately. If you would like to have the certificate in the name of a family member or friend, please make your request in the comments section at the end of the checkout process. Alternatively you can e-mail support@theenergyconscious.com and request to have your certificate in the specific name you want it in. A copy of a typical "Plant a Tree" certificate is shown below.

In this effort, we have joined with www.AmericanForests.org, the nation’s oldest nonprofit citizens’ conservation organization. WWW.AmericanForests.org is planting native trees in ecosystem restoration projects across the United States and around the world. In 2009, trees will be planted in both domestic and international projects in cooperation with numerous local and national organizations. Your purchase through our website will directly contribute to their 2009 tree-planting campaign effort.

We encourage you to participate in campaigns around the country and the world to plant a tree. One way to do this is by donating directly to www.AmericanForests.org or calling 1800-545-TREE.
