This desk lamp combines a tall, classic appearance with energy efficient lighting. The base is metal, with an light amber glass shade. It comes with a 26 watt GU24 base compact fluorescent lamp (with an average rated life of 10,000 hours), delivering 1650 lumens of warm white light, which is equivalent to the amount of light provided by a 75 to 100 watt incandescent light bulb. Note that the on/off switch is an inline switch on the cord.
